Dear ComiRades,
Welcome back to TCU & belated New Year wishes to one and all. The new year hasn’t started well for yours truly with all the hectic travelling and eleventh hour schedule changes, flight Delays and what not. Hopefully they may not continue for the other tours during rest of the year (Yes sir, TCU is planning to tour a lot more than last year to complete the Comics project). Today being Monday, TCU is back with a News post and this post will be a self-explanatory (the right way to put when you have no time to write). Now, there are many-a-doubting Thomas's who questioned TCU’s regularity and here is the answer: TCU Comic cuts 25.
Let us begin the post with an actress from the Hollywood: Angelina Jolie and how her life is becoming a complete graphic novel (Kindly note the way it was mentioned in Kungumam – Effect of G.A’s Graphcis Novel?). Apart from that, Kanavugalin Kadhalan’s favourite actress Carla Bruni’s life is also becoming another graphic novel. It’s high time somebody makes a graphic novel on Amithab Bachchan’s life. Some time in 2008, there was a mention that Comic creator Gaman is making a comics book on Mr Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. (Click HERE to read about that).

From international to national. Sushmita Sen needs no introduction to Tamil fans. about 12 years back, she appeared in a Tamil film and here is a comics news related to her.She is making a cartoon film for her children and that’s such a sweet news.

Nayaanthara – She happens to be one of South India’s leading heroines and she has a hobby of collecting cartoon character memorabilia. (Speaking about that, Dr 7 is going to do a post on a memorabilia of The Phantom very soon). This page was not suitable for editing and hence the entire page was made available over here. Letters to the Editor-How many of us are still writing them? Well, here are 2 letters to the very recent comics articles which happened in Puthiya Thalaimurai and in Kungumam. TCU puts only one request to all the ComiRades – Kindly write back to the publishers. It is the only way they get the feedback and thus improving the output.TCU Had the opportunity to read some of the letters written about Jumbo special and they were really touchy and sentimental. Letters like those move the people behind them. So, if you haven’t written one, do it now.

Speaking about celebrity comics, there was a photo comics on the film DON when it was released. that was close to 100 pages in multi colour with the size of lion comics. they gave it free of cost.

ReplyDeleteகடிதான் எழுதும் பழக்கம் சுத்தமாக வழக்கொடிந்த நிலையில் இதுபோல (சின்னஞ்சிறு கோபு, இந்து ரமேஷ்) போன்றவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து வெகுஜன ஊடகங்களுக்கும் கடிதம் எழுதுவது பாராட்டப்படவேண்டிய ஒன்றாகும். நாமும் இனிமேல் நம்முடைய லயன் மற்றும் முத்து காமிக்ஸ் இதழ்களுக்கு கடிதங்கள் எழுதுவோம்.

ReplyDeleteஇந்த சின்னஞ்சிறு கோபு என்பார்தான் வடுகவிருட்சியூர் ஆர் அமுதா என்ற பெயரில் லயன் காமிக்ஸில் வாசகர் கடிதம் எழுதுபவர். இவரை பற்றி நம்ம ஆசிரியர் மில்லேனியம் ஸ்பெஷலில் எல்லாம் எழுதி இருக்கிறார். அதுவில்லாமல் லயன் தீபாவளி சூப்பர் ஸ்பெஷலை பற்றிய இவரது கடிதம் கடத்தல் வலையில் வந்து உள்ளது.

அடுத்ததாக " தமிழ் பட த்திட்டத்திலும் காமிக்ஸ் கல்வி வரவேண்டும் "என்ற விருத்தாசலம் திரு இந்து ரமேஷ் அவர்களின் கருத்து மிகவும் வரவேற்க தக்கது , என்றோ படித்த காமிக்ஸ் இன்றும் மனதில் இருப்பது போல் பாடங்களும் மனதில் நிற்குமல்லவா?

தங்களின் அருமையான கருத்துகளுக்கும், எதிபார்ப்புகளுக்கும் மிக்க நன்றி நண்பரே!! கேப்டன் ஹெச்சை தோன்றும் காமிக்ஸ்கள் அவை அட்டகாசமான காமிக்ஸ்கள். நிச்சயமாக காமிக்ஸ் வாசகர்கள் அனைவரையும் கவருமென்பதில் சந்தேகம் இல்லை. ஒருகாலத்தில் "தேன்துளி" "நியூ இந்தியா""சிராஜ்"போன்ற கையெழுத்து பத்திரிகைகளில் என்னால் வரைந்து எழுதப்பட்டது. இப்போது பிரபல ஓவியர்கள் வரைய ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்படுகிறது.அவை நிச்சயமாக வெளி வரும். அந்தநாள் அதிக தூரத்தில் இல்லை.
